The Week of the Navajo (conclusions)

Spring Break is coming to a close and what follows is the conclusion to my week of learning how to Navajo ply…and a couple extras.

By now y’all know I like to take photos of yarn. It’s all very seductive to me, this wool stuff, lol! I did use that last batch of colonial wool to learn n-ply with a little larger than a mini-skein. But I went halfsies and spun a fractal skein too. I couldn’t help it. I am captivated by the play of color in all yarns and how color dances across a skein and mingles in a knit. Just loves it! So, I hope y’all enjoy these end of Spring Break pics as much as I enjoyed taking them. :)

And the difference between a knit with fractally spun vs. n-plied yarn?  I’m working on it…

Oh! And Girl Child brought home her latest project from school. I figured since I was taking photos near it, we’d share it with y’all!

There’s actually a sprout in there! We may have someone with a green thumb in our little family after all. :)

Well, that’s it for Spring Break.  Back to the laundry.
